Erasmus Kroatien

Am Sonntag, dem 05.06.22 sind wir in Valpovo, Kroatien angekommen und haben unsere Gastfamilien kennengelernt. Montag morgen durften wir schließlich auch die Schüler:innen und Lehrer:innen aus Kroatien, Litauen und der Türkei kennenlernen, mit denen wir uns einleitend über das Thema ,,Distance Learning Gateway‘‘ und vor allem den Vor- und Nachteilen der Digitalisierung und dem Homeschooling ausgetauscht haben. Anschließend wurde uns die kleine Stadt Valpovo und ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt. Abends haben wir uns für ein Pub-Quiz getroffen und in gemischten Gruppen Fragen beantwortet.

Am Dienstag und am Mittwoch haben wir Präsentationen über verschiedene Tools gehört, woraufhin wir selbst mit den Tools gearbeitet und Tiktoks, Mindmaps und Präsentationen erstellt.

Zur Abwechslung haben wir am Donnerstag umliegende Städte (Ilok und Vukovar) besucht und unter anderem eine Boots-Tour gemacht, um das Land und die kroatische Kultur besser kennenzulernen.

Abschließend haben wir am Freitag unsere Zertifikate bekommen und mussten uns auch schon verabschieden.

CROATIA TRIP

Last week was maybe the best week of my life. We went to the Croatian town of Valpovo as part of our school’s Erasmus + projects. Being in this project allowed me to experience a lot of things that I have not experienced before in my life. We set off for Valpovo on Sunday and it was very exciting to make this journey by plane. When we reached Valpovo, the host Croats greeted us. We were very happy to see their warm attitude.

Then we went to the hotel where we will stay and the hotel was magnificent. The next day we went to the school where we would do our studies. At this school we met excellent people from other countries. Then we started to tour the town of Valpovo. We saw a church of a size we had never seen before, a very large tree and endless greenery. There was a Pub Quiz event in the evening and I was also happy that my team came first. The next day it was time to get to work. We have been given some tasks to do. Although I have never used TikTok before, we made a TikTok video here. Then we played football in front of the school we were in, it was so much fun.

The next day, I had the chance to listen to, experience and present an application called MindMup, which I had never used before, from the experts, and it was amazing. Later, Leo took us out in our free time and talked about his country and the culture there. The next day, they took us from Valpovo and toured the places where we could see the beauties of Croatia. It was a nice meal in the evening and we had a lot of fun. We danced with the other students and teachers there to the songs of our own culture. We woke up on Friday with a feeling of restlessness. Because that day was our last day in Croatia. A beautiful certificate ceremony was held at noon. Then we had free time. In our free time, we tried to meet with everyone we knew in Croatia until that day. It was a nice party in the evening and our adventure came to an end.
